The Kloof en Dal Nature Reserve forms our back fence. Lovely views over the reserve from our lapa with braai facilities. Contributes to unexpected tranquility in the middle of suburbia. Duiker, Mountain Rhebuck, guinea fowl, hyrax, other small (nocturnal animals), walking trails, bird hide, dam etc can all be found in the reserve. Site of the first gold diggings on the Witwatersrand, Confidence Reef, by the Struben brothers. Guided educational walks over weekends.
